How to transfer iPod and iPhone music, movies, photos to Mac or iTunes on Mac OS X

Installation

Double click the installation file iSkysoft SyncPod.dmg to start installing it on your Mac. Then you will see a window with MacFUSE.2.0 pkg and iSkysoft SyncPod in it. Double click MacFUSE 2.0.pkg to install. Drag iSkysoft SyncPod to the Applications folder or wherever you want it. Then you could launch SyncPod to begin syncing your music, movies or photos.

Connecting

Launch SyncPod and connect iPod/iPhone to your Mac, SyncPod will detect your iPod/iPhone automatically. The playlist of the music, movies and photos will display on the left side of the main program window. You can create, rename or delete your own playlist by pressing Control and the left mouse button synchronously or right click the playlist.

Note: SyncPod supports iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3.0, iPod touch 3.1, and the new iPods released on Apple 2009 “Rock and Roll” media event.

Tips: To eject iPod/iPhone, click the eject button on the right of the iPod/iPhone playlist that you want to disconnect.

Mac to iPod/iPhone

  1. Locate the playlist that you want to import file(s) to it;
  2. Click the Mac to iPod/iPhone button, then choose the required files from your Mac, click Open to confirm. You could also drag the required files from your Mac to the SyncPod directly;Mac to iPod/iPhone
  3. Then the software will start the transferring automatically.

Note: Please make sure your Mac is in network connection if the connected device is in 2.0 version or above.SyncPof only transfers music, movies and photos from MAC to iPod/iPhone and it won’t replace the files in iPod/iPhone

iPod/iPhone to Mac

  1. Click the playlist that you want to export files, and then tick the file(s) you want to export in the file list;
  2. Click the iPod/iPhone to Mac button, then specify an exporting directory to save the files, click Save to confirm; You could also drag the required files from the SyncPod to your Mac directly;

  3. Then the software will start the transfer automatically.

iPod/iPhone to iTunes(iTunes 9 included)

  1. Click the playlist that you want to export files, and then tick the file(s) you want to export in the file list;
  2. Click the iPod/iPhone to iTunes button, then the software will start the transfer automatically.

Note: SyncPod only transfers iPod/iPhone content to iTunes and it won’t replace the files in iTunes library.
