First, free Download Video Converter Ultimate for Mac and install it.

Main interface

Part 1: Convert DVD movies, videos and audio files

Step 1: Import DVD/video/audio files

After running the program, click “Video“/”Audio” button on the maininterface, then find video/audio files you want to convert through the media browser (on the right part). You can easily drag the files from Local Video, Audio, and DVD, or even videos download from Web Video for conversion. You can preview the file first by double clicking the file icon, before you drag it in.

Step 2: Select the output format

Select the output format by clicking the “Format” image button (the default output format is iPhone 4). The formats have been catalogued as Apple Devices, Apple Software, Portable Video Players, Mobile Phone, and so on for videos. You just need to choose the right device format for your videos, or you can choose from “Video Formats” or define it from “User Define“. Also, there are various formats for audio files, such as MP3, WMA, AIFF, etc.

Step 3. Start Conversion

Before converting, you can preview your videos in the Preview pane. Then you can click Start to convert. During conversion, you can pause or cancel conversions. The progress bar will show you the conversion speed.

Tips: Merge video clips before conversion

Before converting, you can merge the videos as one by directly drag & drop the files in the list.

Step 4. Edit video/audio files (optional)

If you want to edit your video/audio files, just clicking the “Edit” image button, then you can do trimming, cropping, rotation, adjustment and watermark adding to your files ( to the audio, you can trim it as you like). After editing them, you can click “Done” to back to continue your conversion work.

Part 2: Burn & copy DVDs

Step 1: Import video/DVD files

Just like the first step in part 1 to drag & drop the video/DVD files you want to copy or burn into the list. Then click the “Copy/Burn” image button. There are four formats for your choice: DVD Disk, DVD Folder, .dvdmedia, and ISO File. Select the right one for your need.

Tips: Preview videos before burning

If you have edited the file, you can click the “Preview” image button to preview your DVD project. If it’s ok, then click “Burn” image button.

Step 2: Start to Copy/Burn

After setting the output format, give your new DVD a name and click “Save” to start copying/burning. The progress bar will show you the time consuming and left.

Step 3. Start Conversion

If you want to edit your video files, just clicking the “Edit” image button, then you can do trimming, cropping, rotation, adjustment and watermark adding to your files ( to the audio, you can trim it as you like). After editing them, you can click “Done” to back to continue your conversion work, and have a preview.

Tips: Continuous trimming functions

This editing function allows you to trim your files into multiple segments at one time as you like, and then you can merge them as one again.
